Beverly Compact Conceal Carry Crossbody Camera Bag

Very roomy

I debated colors for a while and settled on the gray with the black tribal geo strap (separately). The combination looks great and is neutral enough for any outfit. I like that it has separate compartments. I don’t like for my weapon to be visible when I open my purse and this bag keeps it separated. The compartment fits my S&W 9mm with no room to spare. It looks like real leather. This is the third JJ bag that I’ve purchased and I think it will be my EDC for a while.

Beverly is the third crossbody bag from J&J I have bought for my wife. I am not a fan of off-body carry, but if you want to look cute while staying strapped, it's better than nothing.
Like all of the bags, Beverly is constructed from a synthetic faux leather and the print on the interior lining adds a touch of fashion fun. No one will confuse it with your Mother-in-Law's Dooney and Burke, but Beverly looks like a mid-tier designer bag. She is a well made, affordable option for packing on the go.
Beverly comes in a tidy package, but the storage space space is not lacking. If you're the type to carry your entire bathroom vanity with you, then this bag is not for you. But, there is more than enough space to pack your phone, wallet and the daily essentials without encroaching on the most important area - the gun compartment.
The purse includes a "holster" of sorts. You wrap a nylon web around your CCW of choice to create the fit, then attach it to the hook and loop area in your desired position. I have found this setup to be lacking in support for both the P365X and Bodyguard 2.0. (The Mrs. hasn't tried the 642.) The most stable position with the least amount of sagging is for the pistol to be horizontal, i.e. muzzle pointed to the front/rear. Not only is that the least safe, it's not a natural draw. That said, it covers the trigger and restricts movement.
Additionally, a loaded weapon weighs down that side of the purse. Therefore, Beverly refuses to stand up straight, even with the wide, flat bottom.
One of the main selling features of this crossbody bag for my wife was the wider shoulder strap to help distribute weight better than her other CCW purses. This is an attribute that she very much appreciates. Except that one of the D-ring style clips attaching the shoulder strap to the purse repeatedly comes unhooked for no apparent reason. That requires a call to customer service. Probably a bad spring in the mechanism. I may try a little Loctite in the meantime.
All in all, Beverly is a great little bag. I can't not recommend it. Just be aware that it's not that sturdy. You may also consider upgrading from the gun strap to a holster inside, too.

Purses are good quality. Wish the conceal carry compartment on the cross body camera purse opened up all the way to make drawing in a SHTF situation easier/quicker. Also bought these for mybwife for xmas....almost spoiled the surprise with the company name on the tape for the box.
